Prince William County owns a number of historic properties and structures. These properties are in different stages of restoration so that they can be open for public use.
The three major sites which the County owns are Rippon Lodge, Brentsville Courthouse Centre, and the Ben Lomond site. In all, the County owns 10 sites. You can gain a glimpse into our past which is worth preserving. Simply click on the site and watch County history unfold before you!

The Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of citizens and County staff members. The Foundation Board meets every other month at one of the historical sites to plan fundraising activities. Elections are held annually for positions on the Board of Directors. Please let us know if you are interested in working more directly to promote preservation in the County by becoming a member of the Board.
Funds raised by the Foundation supplement public monies for the restoration projects performed by Prince William County.
